How do I plant a bay laurel plant in a pot?

Plant in a pot 2-3” bigger than the root ball. Inspect the roots when you remove from the current pot for any mushiness or slimy bits, or a foul odor. Repot in new pot with a nice chunky soil- potting mix w pearlite and orchid bark / pine bark or Leca in a pinch. Bottom water until the soil is saturated. That’s it!
