Hello! If you think it’s too much water, you don’t have to go by the app. You are with the plant the app is going by the information you put into it… if it’s too much hit β€œsnooze” and the app will learn from you. I use a p!ant moisture meter to keep a closer eye on soil moisture. It's a great tool. Prices $5 to $40. I prefer a digital meter. Greg's schedule is a guide. I check my plants every three days. Plant sounds thirsty.
I use a water meter to help me judge when to water. Pothos like to dry out a bit. And they do better with underwater ingredients than overwatering. If Greg says to water, and my meter says no, I press the sleep button on Greg. I am hoping this will train Greg to my plant's particular needs and sun amount. Yellowing leaves often mean too much water.
