Elephant leaf too tall?!

Hello!! Recently got an elephant leaf, it has tripled if not quadrupled in size in just two-three weeks…. Uhm… should I maybe leave it out of the grow light zone?! I feel like it’s getting way too tall too fast 😂😂 help!

It also seems to want to kill off the older leaves to grow this one. There’s still new leaves coming, but some of the older ones are yellowing and dying off.

Just out of curiosity, what type of pot is it in? Does it have drainage holes at the bottom? I ask because it looks like a bucket 😉

It is a bucket!! 😂 a lady in town grows them and sells them, but it does have drainage! It’s going to get a new pot, I was just waiting to get some new soil!
