Strange Soft Spots
I have some strange spots that showed up on my alocasia today. I water about every 10 days and keep her next to a humidifier for a couple hours each day in bright indirect light. What do these spots mean??

@caseyabigail Hi Casey, Welcome 🤗 I'm thinking that your humidifier is too close to your Alocasia. They don't like their leaves touched or water on them at all and those spots look like water spots. You can keep the humidifier but just move it back some to where it's not as close.
I think Heidi @princesspitstop is on to something there! I keep a humidifier running with mine but I keep a little distance from them
@Idplantthat I unfortunately speak from experience. I have a Dragon Scale and I used to put it inside of a gallon Ziplock bag for humidity. One of the leaves was up against the bag and it had markings similar to that. You live and you learn right? 🫤
