The black tips on your Black Bat Flower could be caused by underwatering, low humidity, or nutrient deficiency. This plant prefers high humidity and consistent moisture, so it may be reacting to dry conditions or irregular watering. Make sure the humidity around the plant is high enough by misting or placing a humidifier nearby. Keep the soil evenly moist but avoid overwatering. Make sure the pot has good drainage. If humidity and watering seem fine, consider adding a balanced fertilizer to provide the nutrients the plant may be lacking.
@Gustavo Hellomy planty friend. Iβm trying to not overwater my Black Bat nor underwater it. Iβve done well but with the drop in humidity and cooler temperatures and seasonal changes should I water it when the top 2β is dry? I may have been doing so when the top 1β was dry.
Anyway, Iβm diligently using my trusty water meter and finger. Yet, I have noticed what I was considering βdry with my finger, was not quite accurate according to the meter. Iβm correcting my judgment errors and want to be accurate.
My plant doesnβt show me signs of too much or too little watering. That I know ofβ¦Lol
However, these new leaves are a bit wrinkly, and another new leaf is popping up. Iβve been bottom watering and Iβve noticed I am hitting snooze more frequently as they are taking longer to get dry. Is 30 minutes of soaking too long? Am I putting the water too deep around my pots when they are in the tub? How deep should the water be? The law of osmosis should not allow overwatering right? All my science says this is correct. But maybe Iβm putting them in too deep?
Thank you, for reading this novella and always for the sharing your wisdom.

I'm new to the plant as well, but I think my tips got crispy from not enough humidity and too much direct light. The Greg suggestions go against what everything on the internet says. I moved mine to a bathroom with no direct sun, but lots of indirect light and it's more humid. It seems happier after a week there.
