@LadySugarvine I see you also have a poly? I would do whatever you did for your Poly to make it look so good! I agreeβ¦$30 is really out of my comfort zone as well. The free shipping and lifetime replacement was what sold me. I did not choose the dragon scale howeverβ¦mine that I bought was $15 and came with only three leaves. Iβve pretty much killed it over and over again but itβs hearty and with the oasis you haveβ¦.you got this!!!!
@LadySugarvine Hi Sue, Trishkaβs very pretty! Was her soil very wet when she arrived? It might also be worth checking the soil for pests. It could just be part of the adjustment period in her new home, but Iβd check the soil and roots just to be sure.
@JazzyGardeNerd, thank you! Soil was damp but not soaked. I checked a couple days ago with water meter and not quite ready; today schedule though so I'll take another look for pests as well
Honestly @LadySugarvine that plant looks healthy and I would bet this is βnormalβ for the acclimation. Mine did this and before you know it it grew TWICE as big! Is it really 8ft away from a window though?
@Amateurbotany yes but there is a grow light in its area. Our living room, dining room and kitchen is actually just one big room. This was part of the first online order for plants I've done and honestly, paying $30 for it was way out of my comfort zone, then to lose half the leaves in a week definitely got my attention
@Amateurbotany yes (no jinxing myself), it's doing really well. I'll take a deep breath and be patient. Thanks so much !!
