Recently potted drosera and pinguicula

They both are drooping and look sad. I potted them from bare root after they shipped two weeks ago. I give them water whenever it seems dry. They have an artificial grow light with full spectrum. They also have a humidity tray. I don’t know what to do next, any suggestions? #Drosera #Pinguicula #CarnivorousPlants #cpclubthursday #CarnivorousClub
I'm not an expert with carnivorous plants but here's the little bit of what I know so far. They prefer their potting medium to be moist. Waiting until they're dry might be preventing them from recovering if they're not consistently moist. They can only have distilled water (or rain water).

Also, is one of your plants in a clay pot? The natural minerals in clay are too much for CPs and will leach into the soil. Best to use a plastic pot with drainage so they can sit in a drip tray with distilled water to keep their soil moist.

If you edit your post to add hashtags for these plants that will help get others following those hashtags to help!

Best of luck! I've unfortunately not had any luck with pings but have a drosera, pitcher plant and a Venus Fly trap that are teaching me a lot about their care! πŸͺ΄πŸ’š
@ballondusoleil thank you so much, this is super helpful!
@ballondusoleil that pot I think has a thin glaze on it because it doesn’t darken when wet(the dark spots on there are always there)
There's another hashtag I remembered that you could add #cpclubthursday (hashtags apparently don't work in the comments). Your post will hopefully get a lot of exposure! Very excited for you and your new plants!
@ballondusoleil thank youuu!!!
The drosera shoukd be in a tray of water and it shoukd be potted in 50/50 peat and fine perlite .
Make sure everuthing you use is free from fertilizers. Some peat has it added. Also distilled, rain , or reverse osmosis water . No tap , spring , bottled .
@TheConservator they’re both in humidity tray, they came from curiousplant, including soils, both are fertilizer free. The drosera is in a carnivorous plant mix from their site which includes organic sphagnum peat moss, perlite, and 20 Silica sand. Can I assume that this is all correct?
Thexdrosera needs more than a humidity tray . It needs ti be sitting in a bowl@of water 1/3 way up the pot approximately. That way it can constantly wick water . The ping can just be watered as needed though!
@TheConservator ok thank you!!
Droseras are bog plants, so their soil needs to be constantly wet. Let it sit a little water and don't let that water dry out. They could just be recovering from being potted. They are resilient little plants, they should be okay!
Pings don't need to sit in water but they DO like pretty moist soil. As mentioned above, distilled water is best to water carnivores with.
@JesssJungle Thank youu! I am trying to find a container to put my drosera in currently
