What does this mean?

Two things. One why is its leaf things browning? And the second is that I didn’t repot it after buying it, should I? The soil is dry as of now, so yeah. Also I guess a third question, did I properly identify it? #help #identify #identifymyplant #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent
Could be browning from not enough sunlight. Also, should help if you repot it. Very nice plant tho!!! I LOVE succulents πŸ₯°
@Ciel ok thank you! Also cute cat! I love cats
Thanks! Not mine tho πŸ˜…, just a silly pic I found! But cats are my fav pets!!!
@Ciel oh yeah I completely get that, I used to have bunny’s and cats
@Ciel Layluna is the cat with brown, Patrick is the cat sleeping with my old stuffed animal, Nibbles is the bunny on the left and Lloyd is the bunny on the right
Beautiful!!! This one is mine, his name is Mr. Tom Smudge. Cos he looks like tom from tom and Jerry, and has a bunch of white smudges!!!
@Ciel oh the photo didn’t come through
Sorry, guess it didnt send last time πŸ˜…
@Ciel omg I love him, he looks like a kitten I cat sat for before, his name is Olive, he Ioves to take my shoes as you can see in the first photo, and sit on thing shown in the other two pictures haha
Beautiful!!!
I love how we're over here talking about cats on a plant app 🀣
I was just thinking that too πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚
Ironically the pot the succulent is in is a cat shaped one and its name is mittens lol
You should definitely repot it, that baby is root bound! The browning leaves could be from a few things including watering too much/too little, root rot, stem rot, sunburn, etc. how often have you been watering it? The situation also might get better via repotting.
It looks like a Zebra plant I don't know what you have put as because my app is being weird and is not letting me see the plants in people's Oasis. But I Hope that helps ☺️
@justaplantsgirl oh the Greg app had ID it as Fairy Washboard, but I don’t know
@Slyvie ah ok, I haven’t been watering it often in succulent terms. But I’ll repot it right now. Also it’s it ok to repot it in is original plastic thing and put it in the cat pot as that so that after I water it I can just take out the plastic bit and pour out the water that remains in the pot, because the cat pot has no drainage holes
@LikelyChaya33 typically when you repot you need to put it in a new pot that’s at least 10-20% larger than its original pot. You also need to slightly break up the root ball to allow it to settle in the new soil!
@Slyvie ok so the cat is a bit bigger than it’s plastic thing, not by a lot but a bit. Is that ok?
@LikelyChaya33 it needs to be larger than that actually and with drainage holes! If you don’t have any other pots then I reccomend just going out and buying a pot that’s a good size(you can bring the nursery pot for reference to make sure it’s big enough- it should be 1 inch larger all around!)
I miss when you guys were talking about the cats that pics were so cute.
@MelodiousMint29 haha I guess I’ll have to post a bonus cat pic that I took with each post I do, I’ll make sure to tag you 😊
I agree with the Greg recommendations, ZEBRA PLANT! 🌱
