Accidental sunburn!

I accidentally left my white butterfly arrowhead in full sunlight for several hours!! Is there anything I can do save those scorched leaves, or should I just trim them and cry?
I live in the DFW area so it gets hot, 93 degrees today!

Give them a mist and a few days. If no improvement, you may have to clip the burnt.
Ooupsie! They can't be fixed but they don't hurt it either. So it's up to you.

Don't be too hard on yourself though it happens. 🩷
Also, don't listen to the misting advice. It does nothing and puts your plant at risk for fungal and bacterial infections!
It happens to the best of us, even indoors. If it looks like it’s weighing the plant down, snip. If it’s just a little crispy, it’ll be okay. :)
@SuperbRaspfern I misted mine after a burn and had no issues!!
@ImmenseLovage53 I am glad it worked out for you.

I'll explain further why I said do not mist.

A sunburnt plant has damage. That damage weakens the plant leaving it vulnerable to infections. Be it fungal or bacterial infections. It leaves the plant more likely to get pests as well.

But when you mist an already stressed and weakened plant you are exposing and opening the door for infections. Because they are even more vulnerable at this point.

Now, those who know me know. I am 100% against misting. And have repeated the words over and over DO NOT MIST. It does not increase humidity and is the leading cause of fungal and bacterial infections. These infections can be avoided with proper care. Even on a healthy plant I would never recommend misting. You will never see me do it to my own plants and I will always encourage others not to mist.
