Ok, first I have a few questions about the info on your plant card. It says your tree is getting 3-6 hours of direct sunlight, but then it says it's 20 feet away from the light? It also says your tree is in a pot without drainage, is that correct? My first guess is that it's related to overwatering, which could be exacerbated by having a pot without drainage. What does your watering regimen look like, and what does the soil feel like right before you water? Brown spots on leaves can be caused by several different things, so having a complete picture of its set up and care will help narrow it down.
I can tell you this—spraying leaves with baking soda & water doesn't offer any benefits, and the sodium in the baking soda may in fact be causing harm by messing with the soil's ph balance. May I ask why you began spraying it with this solution?
