Why are my leaves yellowing?

I've cut off like 4 now.. I'm new to #alocasia still so I'm not sure what she wants.... #plantsmakepeoplehappy #planttherapy

Alocasia can be a nightmare. If it’s a new plant it’s probably just getting used to the new environment all my alocasia did this too it’s sad to see some leaves die but it will stabilise soon.
@Plantsy I've had it about 3 months now. It has had a few new leaves, but I think I've cut off 4 ir 5 now. Not sure if it's water and or light..πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
@Momster is there a chance your overwatering it ?
@plantsy I don't think so...? I water as Greg reccomends and the soil is dry when I do...
They're finicky plants. If they're the oldest leaves maybe it's time for them to go. Sometimes cold drafts will make them yellow too. Btw that's an alocasia low rider not an Amazonica, I had a hard time finding it on Greg at first. Hopefully it's just old leaves and she continues to grow
