Does your piece have any roots? If it does, just lay it on some soil and it will do the rest.οΏΌ
οΏΌEDIT- regardless if it has roots or not, placing it on the soil well allow it to root. You can let it dry for a few days and then gently stick the end next to your other plant and lean the piece against the main plant for support. οΏΌ
