Nana the string of bananas

This is a new plant to me, but she was full and thriving upon purchase. Each week more strings are shriveled up and the dirt is so compact. Suggestions to get her thriving again?

If the dirt is that dry, then she might benefit from a soak. As long as she has drainage, fill up a bowl or bucket large enough to hold the entire planter that she’s in and submerge her in the water. Let the soil soak for at least 15 minutes, I’d say don’t do more than an hour. That should help her rehydrate, as rhe shriveling of her leaves is probably due to underwatering. She should perk up, but make sure the soil is dry enough before you water her again. Good luck! πŸ’•
@UberCoccoon22 thank you! Always seems to be dry despite watering. I’ll let you know!
