Passionflower wont bloom? Passiflora caerulea
Hello everyone! Ive had this passionflower for a couple of months now and its growing like crazy but no blooms? It had a flower when I first got it from the nursery so its old enough but i feel like after a couple of months it should he adjusted to my garden bed by now right? Ive tried watering it more watering it less and trying some miracle grow fertilizer but to no avail. My other plants in my bed werent blooming until I stopped fertilizing (theyre native and apparently didnt need it) im in zone 10a. Im not sure if i should try some blooming fertilizer or just let it be. @8elephantsdance oh ok thanks! I didnt know it took them that long to establish! What time frame do you think i should start to worry about it? When i first planted it i still got flowers here and there for a week but that could be because the roots didnt get into the new soil at that point yet.
@DoyenneLithop46 I’m guessing as long as it’s still green and growing, try not to worry at all til next season.
