Dying Peperomia

3rd post about my struggling Cupid peperomia…here’s the last one which also has a link to the first.

Within 10 days of coming home this poor guy was really struggling. I repotted at the end of August and you can see it didn’t have many roots. As of today there are only two poor little stems left and I think one of those won’t last much longer.

Is there anything more I should be doing? Sad to say this may end up being my first plant fail 😔

I know many of you have recently gotten these too, am I the only one struggling??

The roots looked good on the pic you uploaded on August 31st… my guess is possibly underwatering? Peperomia need well-draining soil that doesn’t stay mushy or soggy, but yet at the same time they don’t want to dry out all the way like a succulent would. It’s usually a good rule of thumb to water when the top half of the soil is dry. Hope they pull through for you!
@hoyahead thanks! I think over water caused the issue so was definitely sparing with it after that.

I did water yesterday and the made a soil mix to be very well draining. This morning the 2nd stem is black, so it looks like all our hopes lie with the one final warrior!
