Found these guys

I found a couple of these small snails on my snake plant. Are these harmful or beneficial to let them be?
5ft to light, indirect
10” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago

▫️Handpick them off. They’re usually on your plant at night or early in the morning.
▫️Spray the leaves with Neem Oil.
▫️ Or purchase some Diatomaceous Earth (DE) and sprinkle the powder on the soil. (I usually purchase DE from Amazon.) You can also dilute a small amount of DE with water and spray it on the leaves. https://www.ukhouseplants.com/pests/snails-slugs
▫️Beer in a shallow container (like a pie pan). Snails and slugs are more attracted to the yeasty aroma of beer than green leaves on plants.
πŸ™ I hope you will successfully eliminate your snail problem.
From what I read, they are bad and should be removed. I would check the pot and roots to make sure there aren’t others you can’t see. They will eat your plant
Thank you Michelle and Ada! Looks like I'll be taking the visible snails out then applying some diatomaceous earth for the ones I don't see! πŸ˜…
@OpenmindedBibi I also found that they are attractive to the yeasty aroma of beer. So put a little in a shallowed pan. πŸ™‚
