Wilty

I don’t have a photo, but Shuri is wilty. Is this potentially a case of still settling in after a couple of weeks? I have her in regular soil because I got her before I gained a lot of #Alocasia knowledge - does she need a repot to be able to thrive?

@jcPlantProper Gotcha. Would you recommend water or some wet sphagnum to encourage her a bit?
@jcPlantProper I just got some new moss yesterday, so I’ll give that a go. Thanks for your help!
@jcPlantProper Wee baby roots! Off into the moss she goes. Wish her luck!
I agree with @jcPlantProper. This baby is in need of only moss until it grows a healthy set of roots. I keep my babies in moss, in a mini orchid pot, in a water tray with very little water at the bottom to help the moss stay moist. Find it a place where it can get indirect light and watch it a few days. If she doesn’t perk up, the light is too low. Alocasia -from my experience - like medium light but need a source to help them reach upwards so play with its exposure to light and see what works best for it.

Best of luck and lots of growth!
@FitSedum Thank you!! When I bought this guy, he was already in soil, but I think it was a little premature. He’s hanging out in a moss pot now!
