How to repot?

Hi all! I’ve had this rat tail crassula for several years. It came in a dish garden and did not like it very well, so it’s been on its own for awhile. However, I’ve always had light issues in my home. Somehow this guy is still alive, despite stretches of deadness?
How can I report this so it’s happier and looks better? Standard cut above a node? #helpneeded repottinghelp">#repottinghelp #SucculentSquad #Crassula #RattailCrassula

Hi @Succulentsssss I’d cut the top part off it back to the green part, leaving the original plant. Then cut off a lot of that brown dried up stem leaving enough to stick it into the soil. Before putting it in the soil let it callous over for several hours. It will eventually root and you’ll have a fuller pot. Here’s a good link on crassula care & propagation πŸ™Œ https://succulentsbox.com/blogs/blog/how-to-propagate-crassula-succulents#:~:text=When%20propagating%20in%20soil%2C%20you,draining%20succulent%20or%20cactus%20mix.
