The flowers may smell like chocolate and vanilla! Just make sure, if the flower nectar is sticky, it may smell bad. Hoyas are known to have very sweet fragrances while some can have bad smells. It only matters about the nectar type, liquidy? Sweet and fragrant. Sticky? It wont smell good. You can also lick the Hoya! Its a very high chance for it to taste sweet, some hoyas have the taste of dulce de leche or coffee or gardenia so there are many choices of hoyas to pick! Just watch out for sticky nectar ones.
