I updated my last photos. Anyone know what this could be?...

#Ficus
8ft to light, indirect
9” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 weeks ago
@Hydrahydrangea Hi there, I totally understand wanting to help, but this is dangerous advice. Isopropyl alcohol will strip away the waxy cuticle of the leaves, which protects them from many things including sun, moisture loss, and pests. It’s important to not recommend things that will hurt other people’s plants.

Shay @YokeSuncup40 do you have any pets? This looks like mechanical damage to me πŸ€”
@Hydrahydrangea i’m gonna have to call it out like I see it. You are quick to tell everyone to spray alcohol on their plants.. where is alcohol present in nature please explain to me explain how it makes sense…

there you go, honey pour some gasoline on your plants … this should kill the bugs 🀑
This looks to me like either an animal chewed on it, or it got caught between a vacuum cleaner and a piece of furniture. It does not look like a pest to me.
@OhGollyItsJolly so this is information I’ve learned along the way. No need to be mean.
@Hydrahydrangea my apologies. The clown face may have been a little bit far, but I was not trying to be mean. Just trying to educate οΏΌοΏΌ
@DreamMachine Hey, I looked but couldn’t find any! Maybe they’re the ones you can’t see?
@Just1More it hasn’t been chewed on and is definitely not in a spot where it’s getting bumped by the vaccum. I’m curious what it could be.
@YokeSuncup40 couldn’t find any pets? I mean like, do you have cats or dogs? 🀭

This damage doesn’t look like pest damage. Your plant looks to be pretty dang healthy from what I can see of it, and pests, that is thrips, spider mites, etc usually go for new baby leaves and growth (plus their damage doesn’t look like this at all).

The next thing I would look at would be your watering. Do you water quite frequently or go through long stretches without water? It *might* be oedema damage.
