Watering

Hi again! I have three golden sedum plants that I got and watered at the same time, but this app has me watering one of them on different days. Is there a reason for that? Two of them are more green than golden, but I don’t know if that’s the reason for the watering schedule. #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents

No, coloring has nothing to do with watering or the watering schedule on the app. The app doesn't know what color they areβ€”to the app they're all just golden sedum (the app just isn't that smart lol). Their coloring (or lack there of) has to do with how much light they get. Succulents revert to green when they're not getting enough sun, so put them somewhere that gets at least 3-4 hours of direct and the green ones will start showing more color too. Are the settings for all three identical in the app (pot size, pot type, location, etc)? Did you add all three of them at the same time? Ultimately, regardless of when the app tells you to water, what the soil feels like is the most important thing for determining when to water. If the app sends you a watering reminder for only one of them, go ahead and water the other twoβ€”but ONLY if the soil is completely dried out for all three. If not, then you need to hit the snooze button. It should eventually sync up the more you use it.
