I just love new leaves on #Maranta plants. They look like perfect rolls of paper, or little cigars. Lol. My #RabbitTracks plant is getting big; she has multiple new leaves at any given time. Today, she has 4. I hope that she will get enormous like the prayer plant that @learydarrel has! #Goals #PrayerPlant #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #FreshLeafFriday #FreshFeaturedFriday #babevila
PS- she had the crispy damage when I got her a few weeks ago… she gets LOTS of humidity now and I trimmed off the crispy bits after posting this when I realized how bad they looked πŸ˜…
They don't look that bad!! She is absolutely gorgeous!
I have a baby prayer plant as well
Loving them the squares just pop so vibrant
So pretty! Love prayer plants. They are tough if you don’t have a nice humid greenhouse, but they can adapt. Love the new leaves! Here’s one I’m propagating and even this cutting moves around. I could hardly believe it! They are such cool plants. Thanks for sharing!
@user3c88aaa3 oooh so pretty!! That’s exactly how mine looked when I got it πŸ’š
@teacher12 that’s awesome! I’ve never tried propagating a prayer plant before, but I’m definitely going to try it out. I love that little round vase. So pretty 😍 and I do love how the leaves move, too! It’s so fun
It’s pretty easy. I just cut off leaves with nodes, grow the roots, and then add it back in the mother pot to make it look fuller. Or you can just leave them in water if you like having cuttings around. Or make a new plant. They can be pricey so I feel better using them for more plants or fuller plants πŸ₯°
Yes, me too! Love the little rolled up babies.
