My plant has some buggies and nats what can I do and is it a sign of overwatering?

Fungus gnats are typically a sign that the soil is staying damp too long. It looks like you have a plastic pot inside another pot, which is one reason the soil is staying wet. Pull that pot out of the other to allow better airflow to the soil. Soil that's too dense will also stay wet longer. PPP's like an airy, chunky mix that drains quickly. A good mix is something like potting soil with extra perlite and orchid bark added (3 parts soil, 2 parts bark, 1 part perlite). You can also add some horticultural charcoal. The bark and perlite create air pockets in the soil, allowing more oxygen to reach the roots. When soil is too dense, it compacts around the roots, cutting off their oxygen supply and suffocating them. Something else you can do to get more oxygen to the roots is use a chopstick to till or aerate the soil, which helps loosen it up and create air pathways.
