Caring for my "Rose of Jericho" help?

Is anyone familiar with the β€œRose of Jericho?”
I bought my first one, had her in water for a week; she opened within a day, slowly started turning green, but never fully turned.
I removed her from water after a week and let her dry up again over the weekend; she’s so cute!!
Can I put her back in water again now, or edit longer??

Photos are from Sat Oct 29th when I brought her home and over a five hours watching her open.

I’ll add some progress photos to the comments so you can see what she did. πŸ₯€

Starting to turn green
This is as green as she got in 7 days.
I let her dry out again.
This is her today~ ready to go back into some water.

- I use filtered water only.
- she gets some indirect light
- I checked temperatures, and my house is with parameters.
- I change water daily.
I could try placing her under a grow light. Thoughts? @RJG
Yours looks fine to me. Mine isn't entirely green either. They do like distilled water and indirect sunlight. Make sure you let them out every 4-7 days to give them a water break so they don't mold and change the water every other day. You can prune some of the dead stuff for a nicer appearance.😊
@CoolNoblefir , so far I’m right on track.
I just filled a fresh bowl for her, making sure the water is a little warmer this time. I’m going to place her in my cacti sunroom this time, bright and indirect light, but under a grow light.
See if I get different results.
I’d love to see yours.
@HyggeVibes I will definitely do that. I am currently in Idaho but will show you mine when I get back in a few days. I think they're just incredible.😊
Prepped her new bowl with some rocks and warmer water.
Even gave her a lil smoke cleanse with Palo Santo
@CoolNoblefir perfect; please do. I want to learn how to care for her 🀎
@HyggeVibes love it❀️
Her new home ; I’ll share updates as she unfurls and turns green.
I’ve never heard of this… so interesting πŸ‘€
@TattedHibiscus right? Me neither until I saw it in a local small health biz. I was so entertained by the plant that I had to buy it.
It’s truly amazing.
She’s already opened up in just less than 2 hours.
I've been curious about these but hadn't seen anyone on here post about them before.

These plants are super interesting and apparently very resilient.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us!
What a fascinating plant, I'd never heard of it before. Off to research πŸ€“πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
@tmbryant37 , absolutely. I’m also so entertained with it. It’s such fun.
@Sassylimey hope you can find one. If not- I can give you contact info for the shop where I found it.
Thank you Kim, I may be interested in getting one @HyggeVibes πŸ₯°
@Sassylimey let me know if I can help. If they don’t ship, happy to go grab one for you. They are $5
This is how my Rose of Jericho looks. I use filtered water. I change the water every other day. I let it dry out every 3 weeks and then add water again. https://pin.it/d2jC5oW
@JungleLady505 that’s so awesome. Thank you for sharing. πŸ₯°πŸ₯°
