Didn't get around to posting spring blooms on the ggb post because life is a bit chaotic. But since I got the perfect bouquet for it (as always sponsored by "my mom's overflowing garden"), I'll just post them here now.
The whole apartment smells like lilacs, but for once, it's actually the optics that wow me even more. Enjoy. #lilac #outdoorgrowing #plantsmakepeoplehappy

@MariansOasis
Thank you π
it's already several days old and still going strong. And I didn't expect it. She just brought it over.
My mom's bushes are just like the "trees" you described. I swear, her "supply" of garden flowers never seem to run dry. She also brought over anothet small bouquet of wallflowers and (I think?) larkspur and some other smaller "wild"flowers. Simply delightful
I also loved that I could dust off that vase. Since the explosion of my hoya collection, it has seen far too little use because I only seldom buy flowers myself anymore to avoid the additional risk introducing pests that way .

@CutePolypremum π
@MusicalRedmint yes itβs kind of sad, no flowers from my gardens inside any longer. And when my husband does bring home a bouquet π itβs isolated for the same reasonβ¦potential pests! πͺ°πͺ³π
@MusicalRedmint What are gorgeous bouquet and the color is stunning it could easily become my favorite color!π€©π€©πππ€©π€©π₯°π₯°
@Ms.Persnickety thank you so much. As always, sadly, I could only see the first part of your comment (the part that appears in the push notification). I've talked to the team, but for now, no solution. You are still my own friendly Greg-ghost. I'll take advantage and summon @DreamMachine once more to make the whole comment visible to me (I mean.... you *did* offer, Nadia π
).
@MariansOasis I'm not quite as strict anymore - with gifts at least. They are put in the same room (under watchful eyes. As long as it's not thrips or mealies, I don't mind too much anymore. Hope that's not too much hybris to put in words, don't want to provoke the universe π
). At least 0.5-1m away, buy still....
But yes, usually at this time of year, I myself would regularly get some tulips, etc. And I'm a sucker for spectacular dahlias in fall. But the last two years? Nope. Too scared. π«£
