@SillyPlantGirl right? She’s stunning. Yes!! Definitely a new sheath. I got this plant with only 2 leaves, so I got to experience the sheath for the 3rd one and now everyone to come. I can’t believe it already has 2 leaves coming since I got her, o feel very rewarded.
I LOVE that!!! You know, this Ruby is really becoming my favorite plant to look at every day. I feel like these grow so fast- my little one- is so big now (it’s at 5”), and the one inside the leaf that opened is hugeee! It’s just at 8 inches! Keep me posted- I love watching growth 😊 (that sound weird? 😂)
Brandon- is yours in direct sun, or indirect? I had mine in morning sun w/ pm shade (sun is too harsh in pm here), but I moved it to a more shaded spot because I got a leaf with this brown spot. Now- another leaf has it (it’s the photo) and it’s not in sun, not overwatered and I’ve checked for pests every day. I’m kind of stumped- was just wondering if your has had this.
@SillyPlantGirl I have mine in Direct sun in a west facing window. I have not had any signs of spots like that, and you ruled out overwatering and the sun….im not really sure🤷♂️
