Got my hands on something interesting today, A whole bag of soap nuts/ Reetha fruits.
There very literal nuts that you can use to wash your hands with, the even sud up and everything due to the compound saponin which is a soap like compound produced by many plants as a defense mechanism, The Reetha/ Soap nut is but one native and famous in my area.

I don’t know off the top of my head if any saponin producing plants in my area, but I did work somewhere where we had a soda drink 🥤 made from Kola Nuts. It was delicious 😋
