I started growing Spicy Janes this season. I was shocked at how she loaded up with peppers but was disappointed when new ones weren't popping up. Her leaves were also looking a seriously sad state of affairs toward the end with all of the peppers ripening. Once I had picked them all she suddenly started getting fresh new leaf growth and forming buds again EVERYWHERE. I'm talking well over 100 buds on ONE small plant! (Yes, I sat one morning and counted... thank you OCD 🫣🫣🫣😳😅🤣) I'm going to have cull probably 75%-80% of them 😳😳

@GardenCat43 , most of the seeds in the habanero pepper are near the top of the peppers . Just snip off that part with scissors put it in a small pot covered with dirt. Dampen the soil, then put a clear cup over it. That will make a little greenhouse. That’s the way I propagate new pepper plants. Good luck.

Oh well thank you, I only have the commercial seeds I recently bought and using the tray method with at least one or two seeds in a hole never seems to work, I will try the cup method or the tissue paper method before planting them in 💚
