Wishing the whole gang a Happy Juneteenth! I was off work today so I got to do some traipsing about the five boroughs..alright only three. I’ve been on the prowl for those new Climb-Itt poles for my BMF for the longest time and I can’t find them!! However, I DID see them in the wild for the first time today - literally, as they had Silver Swords growing on them. I considered buying and de-mounting the Philo but that just seemed rude. The search continues. Has anyone tried them?? While I was in Home Depot, I also ran into this guy that I thought I had to share. I was shocked because normally around here, $50 gets you just one little stem that looks like someone propped and stuck in soil - no branching or anything. And this one had THREE branched Euphorbia Ghosts in the pot (albeit needed some TLC). I didn’t get it because I couldn’t think of where I’d put it. Now I am back home and reminded of those wise words - “If you practice self-restraint, you’ll gain regret.” 😂 @Idplantthat #thewateringhole

I’ve been concocting ways I can separate the three, sell two, thus making it FREE and then how could I turn it down? 🤷♂️ @RefinedSandwort that’s a good name for it, I’ll start using that!! I just made up that quote one day when I was trying to encourage @Idplantthat to buy a plant and now it makes me chuckle. 🤭 I’m glad you went back - is that a cebu?? Did you ever get your var. whale fin? I have been seeing so many and I always think of you when I see them. They’re such a quirky plant, it sticks in my brain.

Let me hold out a little bit longer, because I fear the shipping from WA to NY will be about the same as if I bought the silver sword and stole the pole from it. 😂 I’m shocked they’re not available online yet, but I bet that’s coming. @RefinedSandwort ah I can see the albo now - I thought those were light reflections! 🤦♂️ More coffee for me. Now is the time to visit those ‘special’ shops that get the funky plants, at least around here. Every one I’ve been to is busting at the seams.
