Bump for help!!
@Alinaa @PlantMompy I just found the Hoya community and your lovely Hoya collections. My other Hoyas are mostly doing well but this one has me stumped. Do you have any advice?
She was in a bathroom with an East-facing window originally but I moved her to this North-side big-windowed room when she started looking sad. She just continues to get sadder. Also is there any way to have Gregg change the soil options so that Hoya mix is an option? I have been doing 1/3 orchid bark, 1/3 perlite, and 1/3 cactus soil based on what I read on https://www.teakandterracotta.com/hoya-soil/
Hi Lauren!
I would suggest chopping and propping her. Mine was started from props, here is what it looks like.

I keep mine in a west facing window and I kept the moss moist as it rooted. There is soil under the moss so it is used to soil as well. I am now letting the moss dry out and removing it as the plant allows. I also used a dome in the beginning as it rooted.

I've heard a few people say these just don't ship well. While hoya don't mind drying out it may just be that the mix with terracotta was too dry for it.

As for updating the soil option in Greg, you kind of have to pick and choose what your mix is closest to since we can't input what ingredients we put into our mediums.
I also agree with chop and propping the healthy areas at the ends, but I would stick it in something smaller than this. The yellow ones likely happened from root rot, which could be from both keeping it too wet or letting it dry too much then watering.

For me this Hoya is tolerant of going dry, and I definitely let mine dry out, but I donโ€™t let it stay dry too long.

Warmth and humidity are the keys to speeding up propagations when you restart it.
@PlantMompy thank you!!
@Alinaa thank you so much!
@PlantMompy is there a guideline for chop and prop you recommend using?
There isn't.

The hoya will root where you see leaves so I'd cut off the green parts and lay them on top of your medium. As long as it's touching it should root. Especially if you give it humidity like a dome it'll root even in places it's not touching.
