Growing my own saffron adventure
So I did a thing this week 😂
You know all those special holiday recipes? The ones that require saffron? Well, I don’t cook much, but I had my sister over last weekend, so I made one for her as a special holiday celebration. You guys, I about keeled over when I saw the price on the saffron! So I thought to myself “You know, saffron is a flower stigma. flowers are plants. And I’m a reasonably capable grower. Is there a reason on this earth why I can’t just grow saffron?”
I now have 10 corms. Wish me luck.
