Warczewiczella amazonia orchid blooms

Greg doesn’t have this one in the system yet but my Warczewiczella amazonia is blooming! This orchid was previously known as Cochleanthes amazonia and is one of my favorite orchids. My poor plant needs a little TLC once the bloom drops but hopefully I can bring her back. As with most orchids they prefer well draining soil, I have her in orchid bark, and this one likes indirect light. Mine is in a low shelf in front of a southern facing window. It blooms sporadically for me. No scent detected.

Beautiful orchid 🤩. I love seeing rare and unusual orchids! If you haven’t already, you can send an email to Greg support and they will add the plant - I did this when I purchased an oncidium hybrids that wasn’t listed.
