🌿 Surprise Repotting Day! 🌿

I decided to repot my sundew today, expecting to work with a single plant… but guess what? There were eight thriving little Drosera hidden in the soil! 😲✨

Nature never ceases to amaze meβ€”what started as one has multiplied into a whole community of carnivorous beauties. Time to give them the best care possible and watch them grow even stronger!

Who's had a plant surprise like this? Let’s share our unexpected garden discoveries! πŸŒ±πŸ’š #Sundew #CarnivorousPlants #PlantLover

That’s amazing! Congrats! Were they easy to separate?
The separation went well, and luckily, the roots weren’t too tangled
I've never even heard of this plant!
?
Sundews (Drosera) are carnivorous plants that trap insects using sticky, glistening tentacles on their leaves. When an insect gets caught, the plant slowly curls around it and digests it for nutrients. They grow in poor soil and rely on their carnivorous nature to survive.
Wow...love all your killer plants...Had Venus fly trap once, but I wasn't a serious plant parent then and they always died...
Would like a carnivorous plant now that I won't kill or won't die..from idiot care..lol
You might also like Nepenthes! The main part of my collection consists of them. For most carnivorous plants, the most important things are the right soil and watering with demineralized water.
Congratulations!
Wow!! Such an unexpected surprise!! I’m new to house plant growing although I had done a ton in the β€˜70s! I have never seen such an amazing gift as you have received!! Well done
I've seen these, but you don't really see these at your local Plant store..
Like something out of Star Trek , my favorite ALL time show.
lol
