@RefinedSandwort , I have one but it doesn’t look like this. The park is different and it has red flowers. Most of it was dead so I took a chainsaw and cut it down last year. It’s growing back up nicely. 
@Malagueña they come with different colors of blooms, including pink, white, light purple. My favorite is the dark red bloomer
@RefinedSandwort , that is what I have. I planted it many years ago. Unfortunately I planted a tree about the same time about 10 feet from it. The tree is now 40 feet high and it’s overshadowing the crêpe myrtle. The top half of the Crape Myrtle was not doing very well, so I cut the tree with the chainsaw. It turns out that was the best thing I ever did for it. It’s growing back and flowering.
@ILoveMyPlants , yes, I did it in November. It’s coming back with a vengeance.
