#PlantID #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #Philodendron #AlocasiaAddicts calling all my plant experts for some help. My husband brought me home this beautiful plant today. He bought it just because he knows I don’t have one and he thought it was cool so he knew I’d love it. I do love it but the trouble is, I’m having problems identifying correctly. I have 3 different plants ids from 4 diffent sources. Greg indicates is a Chinese taro but my other taros leaves are more narrow so I don’t think it’s that. Another other apps identifies it as a fuzzy philodendron. The two others indicate it’s a Homalonema Rubescens. I tend to agree with the Philo identity just given the shape of the plant and it’s stalks are fuzzy. Can one of my experts confirm? There was no plant tag inside the plant other than green foliage so it’s a crap shoot for plant care right nowπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€” TIA!!
2ft to light, indirect

Philo fuzzy petiole?
Sure looks like a fuzzy petiole
Wow so majestic!
@Araceae I think so too, I’d go with that
You could also try Google scan or go into your local plant shop im sure they’ll be able to help you identify it and get more precise tips on how to grow one

@Ilovemehplants thank you. I did actually try google and 2 other plant apps which all had different identifications. I guess I could go back to the grocery store store where hubby bought it and ask the floral manager. Thanks
