First time growing corms! I am so excited about these beautiful sanderiana and longiloba leaves. πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜ #AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia #AlocasiaLongiloba
I'm so excited for you! Although I'm a semi-new Alocasia owner, I understand how exciting this is. Once mine pushes one out, I'm giving it to one of my friends.
@Kapuac maybe you can answer this question for me that I've been meaning to ask for ages! 😝 I have two zebra Alocasia corms in sphagnum moss, but I can't tell which end is supposed to be "up" and which is supposed to be "down"...does the side with the sharp point face up? I've had them laying sideways until I remembered to ask lol πŸ˜‚
Beautiful! 😻
@stephonicle yes like @PeppyApple said the sharp point up! Mine started sideways in water until I moved them into their mediums as well lol. πŸ˜‚ good luck!
I am semi new to Alocasias and I just love them. Yours are so healthy and beautiful even so young. So explain to me how are you doing this?
@PoisedAlbo when I said I'd been meaning to ask for ages, what I really meant was I'd been meaning to ask YOU for ages lol πŸ˜‚
@PoisedAlbo bahaha!! Thanks peppyapple, you're the best! 🀣🀣🀣
@Kapuac Congratulations, it’s truly amazing and exciting to see this happening. I’m happy for you and your babies. Chunky airy soil like @PoisedAlbo advises.
