Keep or chop string of turtles flowers?
Keep or chop the flowers?
I had no idea string of turtles flowers! Heβs really new, but apparently really likes the fertilizer I used. Question is, since heβs so newβ¦ Iβm wondering if I should let him flower a little bit or just chop them off? #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #StringOfTurtles #HappyPlants

Wow yours looks amazing! I think the flowers are adorable π. I think for these plants people only chop them off because they don't like the look of them, rather than because they are very costly for the plant's energy. I let my peperomias flower and they have never seemed like it exhausted them. Maybe others know different? ππΏ
@LuxuryMint ah, good to know! He seems really happy so maybe Iβll let them flower and chop after they die off π
@RainbowFairy I got Liqui-dirt all purpose nano powder (follow the instructions, itβs super concentrated and will last forever) I originally got it for all my monsteraβs but read that itβs for succulents too, so figured why not - then boom! Happy flowers! π good luck with your cutting! Itβs been a really fun little plant
@UnbrokenViszsla oh my gosh, Iβve heard soooo many wonderful things about liquidirt. Itβs time to go get some! Iβve been using miraclegro succulent plant food & the regular plant food, but liquidirt seems to be much better. Thanks for letting me know!
