My spider plant is flowering!!
I have had it for around a year and it is now flowering! I don’t know though. Do i need to pollinate it? Or put it outside to have it get pollinated? What would pollinating it do?
Hello! Welcome to the #GregGang CONGRATS 🎉🎊🎈 you have a happy, healthy plant! Isn’t it great!! Keep up the great work!!! #SpiderPlant #SpiderPlantBabies #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth 🏜️🌵🌻🦋🪴
Congratulations! Spider plants don’t need to be pollinated to produce babies—the flowers are just part of the process. If the flowers get pollinated (either naturally or by hand), they can produce seeds, but most people propagate spider plants from the plantlets that form on the flower stalks. You can leave it exactly where it is and just enjoy the blooms.
