New trick: Turning a plastic pot to a faux terracotta one. To increase the airflow and reduce the humidity around your plant’s roots, use a welding stick (~$12) and punch holes in the botttom 1/3 of the pot. Make it decorative if you like, and no need to remove the plants or soil to do it. Don’t make your holes higher than the 1/3 mark as that may make the pot too dry in the root zone. You can also use a soldering iron to make holes in the bottom (~5) if your pot has no drainage. BTW This is my newest plant in its newest pot. Happy me. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #RootRot #TheWateringHole

@DreamMachine and thus it shall be.
I just cut off these flowers from my Fabiola. They are gorgeous but use a lot of juice from the plant.
@vvvelo so pretty! yes I have similar flowers in my setosa and minima.
I’ve just used my drill to make holes!
