On the left, $8 @ local Lowe's. On the right, $30 from the app plant shop. The plant card is what the ordered one looked like when it arrived. It was my first plant ever not purchased locally. Lesson learned! #alocasiaaddicts #plantsmakepeoplehappy

@LadySugarvine $30??? It's like $8.90 at a convenience store here, and occasionally have multiple plants in one pot. Damn i didn't know Greg shop was that expensive

It’s rare out this way to find Alocasia’s that size for $8 unless it’s on its last leg and on clearance. Plus I’d be really surprised if they replace the plant if it ends up dying. That’s one of the perks with Greg. Either way! Looks like you scored a deal! 🙌🏼

Lowe's sells many of the plants this app sells for very cheap. I wanted a paddle plant but didn't think I should pay 16 dollars for one. I went to Lowes on Tuesday to pick up more soil and saw that they were selling variegated ones for almost $5! Even on Etsy, those plants sell for nearly $20! I love this app, but I will do my plant shopping elsewhere.
