Does anyone know whatβs this brown yellow spot on my hibiscus? I just got the plant about 2 weeks ago.
1ft to light, direct

You've only had it 2 weeks. It is perfectly fine and nothing to worry about. It was most likely a bit damaged on the travels to your home and then the result of the damage will appear later.
Also, stress from the move shocks a hibiscus which can also cause a yellow spot with a brown center.
It can take a few weeks for them to settle in and acclimate. At that point her new growth will be perfect.

Please do not apply a fungicide unless necessary on a shocked/ stressed plant. It can cause damage.

Anytime I see brown with yellow like that and itβs not at the edge of the leaf it makes me think fungal infection. Trim the affected leaves off and treat the plant with a fungicide. I use Captain Jacks copper fungicide but make sure itβs safe for the plant first. Looks like itβs safe for most plants.
