Hi Debra! Like Juan said- Snake plants don’t like to sit in water. I have all of mine in terracotta pots with drainage holes- and I water them a small amount every 10 days (it’s HOT here in Texas and mine are all outside on east facing patio). My rule of thumb is - if I stick my finger down 2-3 inches and it comes out dry- I give it a drink. But Snake plants are very tolerant of drought and low light, and some say they even do well if neglected a little. Hope this helps!
