Newbie!! I am very new to plant care ❀️🌿I’m nervous because I’m notorious for killing plantsπŸ˜† But so far, they’re all still going strong. I’ve got 13 now! πŸƒπŸͺ΄πŸŒ± Any and all advice is super appreciated!!

Welcome! If you’re keeping a string of bananas healthy, you’re doing great. Mine started like your photo but now is just a half dozen long (but healthy) vines!

I started out killing about 1/3 of my houseplants. Now I’d be down to 1/30 if I could stop TRYING to grow strings of things. I consistently kill bananas, pearls, and turtles, but I keep trying to
@ExpansiveJade51 some pointers for a beginner- The way most plants are killed is by overwatering- try to remember to allow the soil to dry out or mostly dry out before watering again. Most plants like bright indirect light as well. Sunlight is food for plants, indirect sunlight is the best option for most plants. Balanced Liquid fertilizer is but only during the growing season. Direct sunlight is too much for most plants that you consider β€œhouseplants β€œ it will burn them.Good Luck!
