Quarantine space plant glow up
✨Quarantine Space Glow Up✨
One space that has been making me a little bonkers has been my quarantine space. It's in our laundry room/breezeway which is also a drop zone for a family of four.
While it works, I also tend to never have counter space. We updated the space around the washer/dryer to be more functional for us during the pandemic, but it also becomes a drop-zone for things that we don't want the kids to reach.
I finally decided I should clear the counter and move the plants. The space has SW facing windows and I added a full spectrum grow light to the fixture above so they still get plenty of light. I'm sure I'll end up hanging plants in the windows sometimes, but at least I have a place for the larger plants and can fold laundry on the counter again. Plus, it's only a temporary space anyway (I should probably find homes for all the ones in the photo since they are all recovered).
