@Sonja #PalmStreetThornOasis uses 70% pumice. You can add a bonsai mix or jacks gritty mix and just a little bit of cactus soil.
The mix should be well draining meaning when you water a plant, the water drains right through.

Now do I pot them right away? What about watering? Pot and then water? And I’m kind of struggling with lighting because I’m not sure how strong or close the light should be for them. Right now I’ve found a spot for them and this is what I have. It’s on for 12 hours but these are some powerful lights and I am scared I’ll scorch them.

Since the plants will ship bare root, you can also spray them with peroxide and sprinkle with rooting powder before planting.
I like to put my rooting powder in a #DollarTree salt shaker so it's easy to sprinkle.
I mix in #MycorrhizalInoculant with the rooting powder shaker. It's like a probiotic for plants!

BTW, does any else have this problem? When I’m typing a message here I can only see maybe one line in the message and all the rest are hidden until I submit the post. I can go back to edit and I can see everything. The message i typed just above was typed literally in the dark. It’s been like this since day one for me. I’ll show you a pic of what I mean. The pic shows the only thing I saw while typing my reply.
@slayonium they are by Glowrium. I love these because you can control them with an app. The light gives off about 1000 FC/200 PPFD at the height you see. It has a dimmer so I turned it down to 75% until I can figure out what it should be. I have standing lights from them too and they are strong. I have those on 80% and my plants love it.

@Sonja I'd ask folks on Greg for advice on which plants to pot together. Also, only one drainage hole scares me. I'd ask for advice on that as well.
@AwesomePlants they look so cute! My package was supposed to be delivered today. But it’s held up and not coming until Monday. I did get all of the stuff you recommended and now it’s just sitting here waiting on my plants 😢

@Sonja you'll be good. Just make sure that soil mix is well draining and you can't go wrong. I've neglected a few succulent gardens constantly and they bounce back. Cacti even more so.

@AwesomePlants ohhhh pumice instead of perlite. Okay well it looks like I’ll need way more than what I have. That bag is little but it’s a start. How long can I leave my plants unpotted? I just left them on the mat right now uncovered.

@AwesomePlants I did them last night. I think it went okay. I have one so tiny that I didn’t have a pot small enough. Luckily I found one today and will pot it later on. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. But now I have to find somewhere to put them.

@AwesomePlants yes all of the pots have drainage holes. Made sure of that point. Maybe it looks different on the pic but the bigger ones do have 1 to 2 inches around them.
It’s the real tiny ones that have more than that. But I found some smaller pots so I’ll probably repot those little ones in those.
Oh and the pot sizes range from 3 to 5 inches and some of them I put those leca balls in the bottom to fill up the space.

@Sonja I'm gonna get my babies their own cabinet. I have black cabinets for hoyas and philos in living room, but I think I want white to place in my bedroom. I like it cool at night in my room at night so the temp drop will mimic the natural habitat of most.
