Today is a really sad day for me. 💔 I honestly don’t understand what I’m doing wrong with my succulents or why they seem to just give up on me. I’ve done everything I possibly can—I don’t overwater them, and I make sure they get the light they need. Yet somehow, they still end up struggling.
Unfortunately, I have to return them. I’ve only had them for about two and a half weeks, and this is what they look like. It’s so disappointing because I really wanted them to thrive. #SucculentSquad #SadPlant

Thank you so much for your feedback. Is that why they lose their leaves the top left had lots of beautiful leaves and it started dropping them and then I could see little babies coming through but then they two started drying and it’s not like I didn’t water them, but maybe I didn’t water them enough and I’ve been using a plant lamp rather than like window light. I really love succulents and I want to keep purchasing them, but they always seem to give up on me. Thank you again. 
@PiousLantana32 maybe they didn’t get enough water. I usually make sure to give mine enough water to the point where it starts coming out of the hole on the bottom to make sure the roots get plenty to drink. I would prefer natural light for plants but either works fine. I hope this helped!
@Miawilliams I was using regular potting soil with perlite. I just repotted them with succulent soil, it’s more dense and holds less water . I will definitely keep that in mind. Maybe mix the two🤗. What soil are u using ?
@PiousLantana32 your welcome! Just make sure that it’s in a bright area so the water can evaporate. If you are keeping it on something to catch the water, make sure the pot isn’t sitting in a puddle of water as it can cause root rot.

If these are still in the soil they came in at the store that is the wrong soil. They need succulent soil with a mix of perlite or gravel and sand. The nursery soil holds too much moisture and they were put in that soil originally because commercial greenhouse conditions allow them to grow faster in the soil. But obviously once in your home, you should really change the soil and preferably the pot to terra cotta as well. They like deep waterings and are even fine with being totally dunked into a bucket of water when in succulent soil in a terra cotta pot. It helps to mimic their natural habitat with the occasional flash floods in the desert.
