@MusicalRedmint You seem to be discovering some lovely developments with your plants lately, Susann. I enjoy your little discoveries and surprises πŸ€©πŸ˜€πŸ‘
@seymour I've noticed that as well. Life really isn't all that great lately, but after I've had all the existing pests at once + killer fungus, it has been smooth sailing for a few months. I didn't think it was possible πŸ˜€ of course many plants are now threatening to bloom exactly when I'm in the hospital, but hey, then my sitter can enjoy them. And I will just continue to enjoy my root porn. Which really is incredible right now. Roots everywhere πŸ˜€ and I'm happy, if you can enjoy those surprises as well.
I'll add the one that is in most danger of blooming, when I'm away. Just look at that show - I can't even get it all in one picture. And one especially naughty root.
@Seymour also, this bloom specifically is very significant to me especially. I don't know if you remember, but I was very worried (still am, to be honest) that my very northern living conditions meant I was collecting all those cattleya and wouldn't be able to bloom them. However, this one has been with me now for several months, so I cannot attribute 100% of her willingness to bloom now to the perfect nursery conditions it had before. Which means I might have a chance to bloom. Some cats with some of my grow lights (though maybe only if I treat them to one light per plant. This one has been so close to the bulb that it got burned several times πŸ˜€ )
