Two fun new planty pals for me to try out. I’m branching out slowly from my succulents and found these guys. The #Hypoestes #PolkaDotPlant was on clearance for $2 and it’s blooming and healthy. It was like throwing money away NOT to buy it! Beautiful! I love how the red leaves compliment your antique pot 😍
Cover the polka dot plant to make a terraium. They don't survive without extremely high humidity. And will die pretty quick otherwise. Love the red ones they are beautiful. Congrats on your plants! 🩷
@Devsleafypals congratulations! They are beautiful 🀩 I was just about to say the same thing as Shannon @SuperbRaspfern but she beat me to it! πŸ˜…
Your froggy friend is adorable!!πŸ₯°
@Devsleafypals It’s smart if you to keep a pace . When I started it went from five to 58 real fast . Love that 🐸 stuff
@Devsleafypals oh how fun!! Love both of them πŸ’šπŸ©·πŸ’š The syngonium looks nice & full. Keep it trimmed now and then, unless you want it to vine. Mine would get leggy if I didn’t give them a haircut but then I prefer them bushy 😊. And you can prop the cuttings & put back into the pot to keep it full. My hypoestes are outside so they just come up wherever! I trim leggy stems. They produce lovely purple flowers πŸ’œ. Our outside humidity is usually around 50%. They get watered about 3x a week.
