Why is my snake plant's tip turning brown?

One of the tips on my snake plant is turning brown. Can anyone help? I’ve had it for a few months now with no issues. Thanks!
2ft to light, direct
8” pot with drainage

Hi! When did you last water?
Brown tips on a snake plant means not enough water. The plant is thirsty and the tips are drying out.
@LittleSongbird about a week or two ago.
@SvelteKingfern it’s not a hard or crunchy tip. It’s more on the soft squishy side.
How often do you water, and how much water do you give?
And when did you water before that? The amount of water you give doesn't affect the plant, it's how often. Do you use tap water? Because it can cause browning. Use purified or distilled! I'm afraid the brown tip won't go away, but it won't get worse. Usually you only water once every month.
@SvelteKingfern I only water when the soil is dry. I use a stick to check the soil. I bottom water it until it doesn’t soak up anymore water then i give it some on top.
@LittleSongbird i use distilled water. I bought the plant September 12th changed the soil when i got home and watered it then i think I’ve watered him twice since then.
You're doing everything right.

Your plant may be in a transplant shock. This happens. Some plants take being repotted better, other take it worse. Not your fault. Just give your beautiful plant a lot of TLC , it needs it right now. Be patient and wait till that plant gets better. Snake plants are very resilient. πŸ€—πŸ’šπŸͺ΄
