Dealing with thrips in my orchids
Found thrips in my rare plants today. I'm going to treat the most expensive ones with systemic and try releasing beneficial mites to cover the rest of the collection. Wish me luck! #pestcontrol #thrips #notsohappyplants

@AwesomePlants it looks like I caught it early so it is just a few plants. I have the beneficial mites on plants that were nearby as a prophylactic. I still need to add pesticides to the infested plants.
@AwesomePlants I haven't seen adults in two weeks and no larvae either. I think the predator mites wiped it out before it could get too bad.
